As you would expect, cars must be serviced regularly to maintain the extended warranty cover. Vehicles 15 years old or more or that have travelled 200,000kms or more must be serviced every 6 months or 10,000 kilometres, whichever occurs first. Newer cars must be serviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
You choose who does your service work. Your normal mechanic is fine with us, as long as the mechanic is part of a licensed mechanical workshop. You’ll need to show the service records if you claim under the warranty.
